Do you know an outstanding firefighter or police officer who goes above and beyond for our community? This year, Local Hero's Fund is proud to present both the Firefighter of the Year Award and the very first Police Officer of the Year Award, honoring the brave men and women serving communities across New Mexico.

In partnership with AT&T, these awards recognize first responders who demonstrate exceptional dedication, leadership, bravery, and service both on and off duty. From acts of courage to everyday compassion and commitment to their communities, these heroes make a lasting impact on the lives of those they serve.

This nomination program is open to all first responders across New Mexico and gives community members the opportunity to recognize firefighters and police officers who truly deserve to be celebrated for their unwavering commitment to protecting and serving others. You may nominate as many first responders as you would like. Nominate your local hero below.
